Small Claims Court is an informal court, and procedures are kept simple to permit you to use the Court without an attorney. Sometimes cases can be complicated, and a lawyer may be avle to advise to help you. Plaintiff corporations are required to have a layer. There are several independent agencies that may be able to help you. We have prepared a list of agencies, which is availaible to you. If you do want legal assisatnce, it is best to request it well in advance of the hearing date.
